A temporary moving truck parking permit allows you to reserve parking space for a moving truck at or near your moving location. Requirements and availability vary by city.

Many cities require permits or temporary parking reservations when a moving truck needs dedicated curb space. Requirements vary by location, so Easy Permits can help determine what is required for your move.

Simply select your city, provide the requested information about your move, and submit your order. Easy Permits handles the permit paperwork and coordinates with the appropriate city department.

The information required can vary by city, but you will generally need the moving location, date, requested parking time, and details about the truck and parking area.

 

Processing times vary by city. Some permits can be processed within a few business days, while others require more advance notice. Easy Permits provides the estimated lead time for each available city.

We only charge your credit card after the city approves your permit.
No problem. We will coordinate with the city's parking department and reach out to you to discuss available parking spaces closest to your location. We handle everything, including letting you know exactly where your parking spaces will be, so there's nothing extra you need to do.
Metered parking is not a problem. Provide us with the #'s of the metered spaces and we will reserve the spaces for you. Note, metered parking spaces typically cost extra- please review City Info & Pricing page.
It varies by city. A standard permit space is about 40-feet - this space is marked with 'No Parking' signs at each end of your 40-foot spot. If you head to our City Info & Pricing page, the typical space size for that area will be shown there. Please reach out to us by phone or e-mail for further help with metered parking spaces.
We will provide the phone number and instructions for towing when we send you your permit.
Easy Permits is fully responsible for placing your 'No Parking' signs/barricades. Some cities post the signs themselves, other cities Easy Permits hangs the signs/barricades for you. We make sure all processes are done correctly.
We reserve a 40-foot space by default. If you need more space let us know.
